The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

It s that time that everyone has been waiting for. Time to restock your fishing gear! In some parts of the country fishing season is over (I cringed when I typed that). In other areas like here in South Carolina all around outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen have lowered the rod and raised the rifle for hunting. I am one of those guys that fish all year long since there isn t a fishing season here.

Those of you that are subjected to fishing seasons (I cringed again) I offer you a beneficial use for that time that will keep you close to fishing...in spirit. Take this time to respool your reels with fresh line. One of the most painful events in bass fishing is losing a trophy bass because of line breakage from old brittle line. If bass could talk they d say the same because they keep attacking them. Now if topwater is your thing Secret Lures has the ultimate frog in the Chubby Frog. These babies have caught bass all over the country. Secret Lures even designed a frog with clear legs for bass that tend to short strike at topwater lures.

I couldn t leave the go getters out. Those of you that like the reaction strike I have the perfect lures for you with the name you should love. Reaction Strike Lures have some of the deadliest crankbaits, minnows, swimbaits, and plastic lures in the world! When I say in the world I mean it. The lures have been proven from US to Italy to Germany and even Russia. My favorite is the Revolution Shad. If you need spinnerbaits head back to Team Supreme for various styles and color selections. McCoy Fishing Line has nice spinnerbaits also to satisfy that reaction strike need.
